The 2006 Annual SARS Conference was being held as part of the RCS Edinburgh's 500 year celebration.

The programme consisted of 3 symposia, BJS Lecture, John Farndon lecture, keynote lectures, Patey Prize presentations, President's Poster Prize presentations.

A new part of the programme for Edinburgh was the Education Symposium specifically for trainees. SARS are keen to involve trainees more within their programme and held a very well attended trainee breakfast session.
