SPECIALIST ADVISORY COMMITTEE (SAC) IN GENERAL SURGERYOver the next few months, there will be 3 vacancies for SARS representatives to sit on the SAC. The Society is keen for its members to become actively involved in this important and would encourage applications. The meetings of the SACs are held in London (4-5 times per year) and travel expenses to SAC meetings are paid by the Hospital Trust where the representative works. Please send completed application forms to the General Specialty Surgery Manager at the JCHST. A shortlist will be sent to SARS Council and decisions will be made the next Council meeting at the beginning of July.
