ACCEA DISTINCTION AWARDSIt is important that the SARS continues to represent the interests of its members in support of higher awards. Many members may be unaware that they can request SARS support by submitting official DoH forms directly to the Society. Recommendations are put forward to the ASGBI Distinction Awards Committee for consideration, alongside recommendations from the other specialist associations. The ASGBI will then send final recommendations for Distinction awards to the Department of Health (DOH).
